At 3:30 am on the 28th, Ace
(real name Clyde DePugh), a famous
movie star, was found in a cow
pasture outside of town. He had been
shot earlier that night but because
the body had been ravaged by condors
the caliber of the gun that killed
him is unknown. It is also unknown
where the murder took place. Traces
of cocaine found in his blood
indicate that he was involved with
narcotics. Scuttlebutt around the
precinct is that there were witnesses
to the crime but so far none of them
have come forth. Ace, a great actor,
was known for welshing on deals.

Hey, I ain't got no crystal ball!
I want my lawyer!
No.
I was at home all night.
Am I under arrest?
Yes, I own a knife.
A .38 was used.
At the docks. I met Diane there.
Don't I need a lawyer, dearie?
I own a .38, just like Hector's.
I have no idea.
I was with Chapy Joes, a real man.
Yeah, it was a dude.
I own a .45, so what?
You tell me and we'll both know.
I was keepin' an eye on Diane.
Okay, okay, you got me. I'm the
dude who dusted him -- but he was
going to rob me, man. You see, we
set up a drug deal for some primo
crack but when he was supposed to
hand over the cash he pulled a gun
instead. Well, there ain't no way no
movie star is gonna outshoot Hector.
I got him with my .38. Afterwards I
heard a guy and a chick down the
alley so I took off. Maybe they saw
me, maybe they didn't. Now get me my
lawyer, policia!
